Richfields (“Richfields”) guarantees that every timepiece offered for sale is one hundred percent (100%) authentic. Richfields is an independent retailer and is not an authorized dealer of the manufacturers whose products it sells. Due to the limited availability and rarity of certain timepieces, Richfields sources inventory through a vetted network of private collectors, authorized dealers, and manufacturer-affiliated partners.
Each timepiece is subjected to a comprehensive authentication process conducted by qualified horological professionals. This process includes, but is not limited to, verification of mechanical operation, originality of components, inspection of serial numbers, and review of accompanying documentation where available. Authentication determinations are made using industry-standard methodologies and professional judgment.
Warranty Coverage
Unless otherwise stated in writing, new and pre-owned timepieces purchased from Richfields are accompanied by the remaining balance of the original manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable and transferable. If no remaining balance of the warranty is applicable or transferable no warranty coverage is offered or implied unless expressly stated in writing at the time of sale.
These warranties cover mechanical defects attributable to manufacturing faults under normal use and expressly exclude coverage for cosmetic wear, normal aging or patina, accidental damage, loss or theft, water intrusion, misuse, neglect, improper storage, or any modification, repair, or service performed by a non-authorized third party. Any such unauthorized intervention shall void all warranties.
Vintage timepieces are sold in consideration of their age and historical character. Due to the limited availability of replacement components and the nature of vintage mechanisms, no warranty coverage is offered or implied for vintage items unless expressly stated in writing at the time of sale.
Concierge Services
Richfields offers optional concierge and sourcing services to assist clients in locating specific timepieces. Such services are provided on a best-efforts basis only and do not constitute a guarantee of availability, pricing, or delivery timelines. Any concierge services are subject to separate terms and conditions and may require advance payment or deposit.
Shipping Policy
Domestic Shipping
Richfields offers standard ground or overnight shipping at cost on all domestic orders within the United States. Shipping services are provided via a nationally recognized carrier and are subject to carrier availability and operational conditions.
International Shipping
Richfields offers international shipping to approved destinations worldwide at applicable international rates. Delivery timelines may vary based on destination, customs processing, and carrier performance.
Special Orders
Items designated as Special Orders, including timepieces sourced at a client’s request from third-party suppliers, are typically shipped within one (1) to two (2) business days following receipt and verification of full payment, unless otherwise disclosed at the time of purchase.
Order Fulfillment and Processing
All items listed for sale are maintained within Richfields’ inventory and are shipped from Miami, Florida. Orders for which cleared payment is received prior to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays), are generally processed and shipped the same business day. Processing times may vary due to payment verification, compliance checks, or operational constraints.
Pre-Shipment Inspection
Prior to shipment, each timepiece is removed from secured inventory and verified for conformity with its product listing. Items are shipped with their original box and documentation, as applicable. Each watch undergoes inspection using professional-grade equipment to confirm operational condition, aesthetic integrity, and, where applicable, water resistance. Such inspection does not constitute a warranty beyond those expressly stated.
Shipment Method and Delivery Requirements
All shipments are securely packaged, fully insured for the declared value, and shipped to the purchaser’s verified billing address unless otherwise approved in writing. Adult signature confirmation is required upon delivery for all orders.
Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser upon confirmed delivery to the designated address as evidenced by carrier delivery confirmation.
International Delivery Restrictions
Richfields ships to numerous destinations. The purchaser is solely responsible for ensuring that the ordered item complies with all import laws and regulations of the destination country, including restrictions related to materials subject to international trade controls or wildlife protection regulations.
Sales Tax
In accordance with applicable Florida law, sales tax is applied to taxable orders shipped to addresses within the State of Florida, including shipping and handling charges where required.
Customs Duties and Import Fees
All international orders are shipped Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) unless otherwise specified. The purchaser is solely responsible for all customs duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, and any related charges imposed by the destination country or carrier, including charges incurred in the event of delivery refusal or non-acceptance. Richfields is not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or holds imposed by governmental authorities.
Refund Policy
Commitment to Service and Product Integrity
Richfields is committed to providing exceptional service and access to fine timepieces of the highest quality. To ensure clarity and consistency in all transactions, the following Return Policy governs all purchases.
Return Policy
Subject to the terms set forth herein, Richfields may, at its sole discretion, consider returns submitted within three (3) calendar days of confirmed delivery. Approved returns are eligible only for store credit; refunds to original payment methods are not permitted.
To qualify for consideration, all returned items must meet all of the following conditions:
- The item must be in new, unworn, and unaltered condition
- All original packaging, authentication tags, accessories, and documentation must be included
- A valid proof of purchase must accompany the return
Items failing to satisfy these requirements will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Final Sale Items
The following categories of merchandise are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or store credit:
- New timepieces
- Special orders or items sourced at a client’s request
- Engraved, customized, or otherwise modified items
- Any item explicitly designated as “Final Sale” at the time of purchase
Richfields retains sole and absolute discretion in determining the eligibility of any return request.
Condition of Returned Items
All returned items must be received in the same condition as when originally shipped. Any evidence of wear, use, resizing, alteration, damage, or missing components will result in immediate disqualification from return consideration.
International Orders
Richfields is not responsible for shipping delays, customs processing times, duties, taxes, tariffs, or other import-related charges associated with international shipments. All customs duties and taxes paid on international orders are non- refundable.
